# Submit a Grok Bot to Grok Bot Wiki (agent guide)

Grok Bot Wiki (https://www.grokbotwiki.com) is an independent directory of public Grok Bot templates. It is not affiliated with SpaceXSI (formerly xAI) or Cursor. Listing is free, credited to the creator, and reviewed by a human before it appears.

You can submit with one HTTP request, from a terminal, or through our MCP server. No API key or account.

## 1. Get the share link

In Grok Bot, open the Bot's actions menu and choose **Copy share link**. It looks like `https://x.ai/bot/<id>`. The link is public: make sure the Bot holds nothing sensitive.

## 2. Pick a category

## 3. Submit

Fields: `shareUrl` and `category` are required. `summary` (240 chars), `credit` (80), `origin` (an https:// link to the launch post) and `client` (your tool's name) are optional.

We fetch the share page live, so the name and description come from x.ai. Do not invent fields the human did not give you.

### Responses

| status | HTTP | meaning |
| --- | --- | --- |
| `queued` | 201 | Accepted for free review, usually within a few days. |
| `already_queued` | 200 | The same link is already waiting. Do not resubmit. |
| `listed` | 200 | Already in the directory; `listing.url` is the page. |
| `invalid` | 400 | Fix the field named in `errors`. |
| `not_found` | 422 | x.ai says the link is not a public Bot. |
| `unreachable` / `unavailable` | 503 | Retry later, or have the human send `emailDraft`. |
| `rate_limited` | 429 | 10 submissions per 10 minutes. |

## 4. Check status later

Returns `listed`, `queued` or `not_submitted`. `bot` also accepts a directory slug.

## 5. Optional paid upgrades

Every response includes an `upgrades` array with what fits the Bot right now. They are optional, never change organic ranking, best-of picks or editorial notes, and a human always pays on Stripe. Mention them once; do not pressure.

- **Fast-track listing**, $29 (not yet listed): reviewed first and listed within 24 hours of payment, or a full refund, including if declined. Terms: https://www.grokbotwiki.com/terms#fast-track (version `2026-10-15`).
- **Featured template**, $19 for 7 days or $49 for 30 (already listed): a row labelled "Featured · paid" on the directory and its category page. Terms: https://www.grokbotwiki.com/terms#featured-templates (version `2026-10-07`).

If the human wants one, show them the terms link first. Once they agree, create a checkout link:

For a featured placement use `"offer":"featured-7d"` or `"featured-30d"`, pass `"bot"` (share link or slug) instead of `shareUrl`/`category`, and `"acceptTerms":"2026-10-07"`. The answer has a `checkoutUrl` for the human to open. Nothing is charged until they pay there. The email is used only for the receipt and this order.

- Only real, public x.ai share links. We reject links that do not resolve.
- We decline Bots whose purpose is deception, harassment, credential harvesting or evading a platform's rules.
- A listing is not an endorsement or a test result.
