We use Google AdSense to show ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

Analytics
Google Analytics uses cookies to count visits, recognize returning browsers, and measure interactions such as newsletter sign-ups. Google signals and advertising personalization are disabled for our Analytics property. You can install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on ↗.
Vercel Web Analytics counts page views without cookies, using short-lived visitor identification.
First-party analytics records the pages you view, scroll depth, time on page, the referring website's hostname, browser language and timezone, screen and window size, coarse browser, operating system, and device type, and approximate location (country, region, city) derived by our host from your IP address. Session identifiers are kept in your browser's session storage and expire after 30 minutes of inactivity. We do not store your IP address, record what you type, or track you on other sites. Events are stored with our database provider, Supabase.
Our analytics collectors skip visits that send a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal.
Workflow service enquiries
When you send a service enquiry, we collect the email address, optional name, task description, tools, timing and service you select. We store the request privately with Vercel and use it to respond, assess fit and manage the requested work. We also record the public site placement that led to the form, the quoted price and the time of the request.
Enquiry details are not added to the newsletter or included in analytics. Only the site operator can retrieve requests through authorized storage access. The form uses a short-lived abuse check; it does not persist your IP address. Please do not include passwords, API keys or sensitive client information. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion of your enquiry.
Payments
Stripe processes payments for workflow services, sponsorships and featured templates on its hosted checkout. We send Stripe your email address, the selected service or placement, its price and a reference linking the payment to your privately stored brief or order. Task descriptions, tools and order notes stay in our private store. Stripe collects payment and billing details; card numbers do not pass through this website.
We privately store Stripe payment references, the amount and currency, payment and refund status, and the terms version to confirm your purchase and manage delivery. Our payment-status page is excluded from site analytics and search indexing. Payments do not subscribe you to marketing. Stripe’s handling of payment information is described in its privacy policy.
Sponsorship, featured template and fast-track orders
When you order a sponsorship, we collect your contact email, the company or product name, website, tagline, and any preferred start date and notes you add. For a featured template, we collect your contact email, the Bot you choose and the duration. For a fast-track listing, we collect your contact email, the Bot's public share link and the category you choose. We store each order privately with Vercel and use it to review, run and manage the placement and to contact you about it. Only the site operator can retrieve orders through authorized storage access.
The public parts of an approved order are published while it runs: a sponsor's name, tagline and link, or the featured Bot's existing directory listing. A fast-track Bot is published as a normal listing from its public share page. Stripe processes the payment as described above; we send it your email address, the selected placement, its price and a reference linking the payment to your stored order. We do not add order details to the newsletter or to analytics, and the payment-status pages are excluded from analytics and search indexing.
Our analytics count clicks on sponsor cards and featured Bots using only the sponsor's short identifier or the Bot's public page name, never details about you. Sponsor links add campaign parameters naming Grok Bot Wiki so sponsors can see visits in their own analytics. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion of an order.
Information you give us
Newsletter: if you subscribe, we store your email address and consent with our email provider, Resend, and use it only to send the newsletter. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.
Bot submissions: details you enter in the submission form, the submission API or our MCP server (share link, category, summary, any name, handle, or post link you add, and the name of the tool that sent it) go to our private review queue, stored with our hosting provider and, when configured, on GitHub. If that queue is unavailable, you get an email draft to review and send instead; opening a draft does not send it. Approved listing details may appear publicly in the directory. Only submit information you are happy to include in a public listing.

AI assistant connector (MCP)
Our MCP server receives the query text an AI assistant sends when you ask it to search the directory or guides. We use that text only to answer the request and do not store it beyond our host's standard request logs. The server needs no account and returns only public directory and guide data.
Browser storage
Besides the cookies set by Google above, the site stores a few values in your browser's session storage: analytics session and tab identifiers, and whether you have already seen or joined the newsletter prompt. They are cleared when you close the tab.
Hosting and service providers
The site is hosted by Vercel, which processes standard request information such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect the service. We share information only with the providers named on this page, to operate the site. We do not sell personal information.
Your choices and rights
You can block or delete cookies in your browser, use the opt-out links above, or send a Global Privacy Control signal. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. Email hello@grokbotwiki.com and we will respond within 30 days.
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
