Three kinds of evidence

Documented capability: a feature described by the vendor. We link to the source and record when we checked it. Documentation does not establish that every proposed workflow will succeed.

Editorial template: an original brief, setup, checklist, or workflow to adapt. Our current guides and role blueprints contain these suggestions. They are not verified deployments or installable, tested skills.

Independently tested: reserved for a workflow we have actually run with a recorded date, inputs, access requirements, output, failure cases, and reviewer. No current workflow carries this label.

Useful before impressive

We prioritize a clear task, concrete inputs, a checkable output, and a sensible boundary for external actions. We do not invent usage numbers, time savings, testimonials, or search volume. A sample prompt is a starting point, not a promise of an outcome.

Freshness & corrections

Each guide lists its documentation and source-check date. Grok Bot is changing quickly; availability and interface details can differ by account. Check the linked official documentation before relying on a feature.

When source changes affect a guide, we update the affected claim and its check date. We plan to review the library weekly as it grows; this is an editorial commitment, not an automated monitoring system.

Grok Bot Wiki is an unofficial, independent publication, not affiliated with or endorsed by xAI or X Corp. Our Bot illustrations are original artwork. Inclusion in a resource or example does not mean a partnership.

Commercial relationships

The site is funded in a few clearly separated ways: optional paid workflow audits and setup help, labelled sponsor cards, and paid featured placements for Bot creators. Some pages may also show display ads. We do not use affiliate links in the guide library.

Every paid unit is labelled. Sponsor cards say “Sponsored” and sit in fixed slots beside the directory, guides and Bot pages. Their links are marked rel="sponsored". Featured templates appear in a separate row labelled “Featured · paid” on the directory and its category pages, never inside the organic list.

Payment never changes the editorial. Paid placement does not change organic order, “best” picks, editorial notes, evidence labels, or results in site search or our MCP server. Sponsors, creators and service customers do not review or approve what we write, and buying a placement is not a test or an endorsement. We review every sponsor and decline anything presented as official or endorsed by SpaceXSI, xAI or X. Grok Bot Wiki is not affiliated with any of them. An optional paid fast-track listing only moves a new Bot to the front of the review queue: it gets the same review, rules and labels as a free listing. Sponsorship, featured template and fast-track listing terms are public.
